The League of Women Voters of the Stevens Point area is honored to present the 4th Maxine Burress Memorial Public Forum. This year's focus is poverty in our community.
Mary Patoka, President and CEO of CAP Services, and Sue Wilcox, executive director of the United Way of Portage County will provide information on the extent of poverty in our community and actions we can take to help. Attendees will have a chance to experience the challenges in making decisions on limited resources.
This presentation is sponsored by the LWVspa and the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin Rapids. Join us in the Community Room at Midstate Technical College in Stevens Point for this presentation.
